Rising Star VFD is a volunteer non-profit organization that exists to provide fire and other emergency services to the citizens in the southwest portion of Eastland County and the surrounding areas as needed. We have 26 current members and would welcome new applicants.
Rising Star Texas is located at the intersection of Highways 36 and 183. We are approximately 20 miles south of Cisco and Interstate 20, 30 miles north of Brownwood and 60 miles east of Abilene.
